Binita's Art & Lifestyle

What, how and who?

Binita’s is a unique art brand due to the high personalisation of the commissioned artworks and the incredible variety in the fine art that Binita Snyman produces.

Binita Snyman emphasises the therapeutic and social nature of the art-making process and promotes the belief that art is a skill that can be taught and learnt by all.

Binita loves working with non-artists, want-to-be-artists and artists in her art classes, workshops and paint nights.

Why?

Binita encourages all to get creative from time to time! She has recognised the following (just to name a few) therapeutic benefits of engaging in the art-making process:

Stress relief
Relaxation
Meditation
Improvement of cognition
Assistance in self-expression, non-verbal expression and communication
Increase in morale
Increase in self-esteem and self-awareness
Encouragement to take part in creative thinking
Increase in brain connectivity and plasticity
Increase in empathy and feelings of love

Vision

Binita's vision is to bring, not only a feeling of, but an actualisation of LIFE to everyday people. LIFE according to Binita's is beauty, joy, peace, healing, wholeness, self-expression and freedom. Binita's wants to see individuals touched, changed and encouraged through the arts. Binita's vision is to see even non-artists participate and enriched in the art making process.

Mission

Binita's mission is to engage everyday individuals in art, creativity and the art making process. Binita's produces high quality, exclusive and customised art that speaks with purpose and brings deliverance.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The artist, Binita Snyman, has a heart for orphans, the ill, broken communities and the poor. For this reason, it excites Binita when she is offered opportunities to serve. Binita has painted a number of murals as part of corporate social initiative community makeover projects, for clients such as Investec, Standard Bank, Primer and Loreal. She loves serving in public health care spaces and has worked with the Breast Health Foundation by creating awareness of breast cancer through murals.

Feel free to contact Binita if you would like to volunteer to be apart of future projects.
